Trex: the best-known capped composite and the widest color range we carry. A safe, well-supported choice for most elevated decks.
TimberTech: capped composite lines with a strong fade and stain record, from the same manufacturer as AZEK.
TimberTech AZEK: advanced PVC with no wood flour at all. The coolest surface and the strongest warranty of anything we install.
MoistureShield: the composite we specify when a deck sits low to grade or near water. It is approved for ground, in-ground and underwater installation.
AridDek: a waterproof aluminum deck system for when the space under the deck needs to stay dry and usable. Covered on our deck installation page.

The Work Underneath Decides How Long It Lasts
On a deck, the boards are the part you see and the framing is the part that decides how long it lasts. On a paver job, the brand of paver matters far less than how deep the base is and how well it was compacted. We have replaced more failed decks and sunken patios caused by the work underneath than by anything wrong with the material on top.
Ask any installer about the ledger flashing and the base depth before you ask which brands they carry.
Warranties get read. Structural warranties cover the board, never the frame and never the labor. We point out what is actually covered before you sign anything.
Composite, PVC or Wood?
Choosing Between Composite, PVC and Wood
Capped composite (Trex, TimberTech, MoistureShield) is the most common choice for Jacksonville decks: low maintenance, no staining or sealing, and a wide color range. PVC (TimberTech AZEK) contains no wood flour, so it leads on heat, moisture and warranty at a higher price. Wood costs less up front but needs sealing on a schedule, and pressure-treated pine typically gives 10 to 15 years in this climate. We install all three, so the recommendation comes from your site, not our inventory.

Which decking brand is best for Florida?
It depends on the site more than the brand. For a standard elevated deck, any of the capped composites we install (Trex, TimberTech or MoistureShield) will serve well. For full sun or a pool deck, TimberTech AZEK PVC runs coolest. For a deck low to grade or near water, MoistureShield is approved for ground and water contact.
Is AZEK the same as TimberTech?
They are the same manufacturer. AZEK is TimberTech’s advanced PVC line, while TimberTech’s other lines are capped composite. Comparing AZEK with TimberTech usually means comparing PVC with composite.
Which composite decking is best near water?
MoistureShield. Its solid-core boards are approved by the manufacturer for installation on the ground, in the ground and underwater, which is unusual for composite and why we specify it on marsh-side and low-clearance decks.
Which paver brands do you install?
Belgard and Tremron concrete pavers, plus travertine and natural stone. Tremron is made in Florida, so lead times and color availability are often better here; Belgard has the widest style range and matching wall systems.

Yes, and we recommend it. If you are weighing AZEK against composite, or Belgard against Tremron, we put both options on the same estimate so you can compare them directly.
